Can tattoos be removed immediately after being inked?
Yes, it is possible. Many people believe that the skin must be completely healed, a month to several months after getting the tattoo, before removal is possible. Our Tattoo Removal Center recommends removing it as soon as possible if you are not satisfied with it.
This is because laser treatment before the tattoo pigment settles can lead to a higher removal effect. Some people worry about scarring if they receive treatment while the skin is not healed. While immediate treatment may be difficult if inflammation has occurred after the tattoo, excluding such cases, removal is possible immediately after the skin has healed.
Does it get more painful with each session?
Strictly speaking, no. The reason for the pain is that when the laser is fired, the pigment reacts, creating a sensation as if the skin is tearing.
Initially, the pigment is dense, leading to a strong laser reaction and severe pain. However, as the sessions progress and the pigment lightens, the pain gradually decreases.
If pain persists even after the pigment has lightened, it is because the output intensity has been increased to remove the remaining pigment. There may be individual differences in pain perception.
If large blisters form, does that mean it's being removed well?
No, that is not the case. To summarize:
- Blisters are a common phenomenon during the removal process.
- Large blisters do not necessarily indicate successful removal.
- On the contrary, they can lead to scarring after removal.

Can minors receive treatment?
Yes, they can. The younger the age, the better the skin regeneration, leading to faster removal effects and quicker recovery after the procedure.
However, there is a more concerning aspect. In the case of minors, getting tattoos that are relatively low-priced can make it difficult to achieve satisfactory results, and scars may remain after the tattoo. We recommend that minors avoid getting tattoos if possible.
Will repeating it four times damage the skin?
No, it will not. The R-Zero Technique involves applying Perfluorodecalin (PFD) special medication to quickly remove bubbles that interfere with laser penetration, then shortens the number of treatment sessions by repeating the procedure up to four times.
Skin damage after the procedure is caused by increasing the output intensity without considering the location and amount of ink. When irradiated at an intensity appropriate for the individual's skin characteristics, there is no strain on the skin.
Is the same intensity used for everyone?
No. Since each individual has different skin characteristics, we find and proceed with the appropriate intensity that can achieve removal effects without causing damage.
Assuming laser intensity ranges from 1 to 10, the output intensity is adjusted considering the individual's skin type, the amount of ink, and the size of the tattoo. For example, if a person can tolerate an intensity of 2 to 5, the R-Zero Technique is performed with repeated treatments at the maximum output of 5.
What is the difference between R-Zero Pico-Frectat and R-Zero?
Both methods are enhancements to first-generation laser tattoo removal treatments.
