Ink the Body Clears Itself, and Ink It Cannot
Semi-permanent eyebrow tattoos can be considered to have the same principle as general tattoos. It's a method of injecting ink into the skin using needles.
At this time, if the ink particles are small, macrophages in our body can clean up and eliminate the ink. However, if the particles are large, it is difficult for macrophages to engulf them, and they remain in the skin.
The tattoos visible to our eyes are ink that the body has not been able to clear and has left behind.

The Principle of Removal is Ultimately the Same
The principle of removing existing tattoos and eyebrow tattoos is identical.
When large ink particles embedded in the skin are broken down into smaller pieces by a laser, macrophages engulf these fragments and move them out of the body. This essentially makes the particles small enough for the body to resume its natural clearing process.

This is the most frequently asked question: Will the hair follicles burn or be damaged when a laser is applied to the eyebrows?
- Some eyebrow hairs may burn during the procedure.
- However, the hair follicles, which are the roots of the eyebrows, are embedded deep in the skin.
- Therefore, they are generally not damaged and grow back.
