- Temporary swelling, redness, warmth, bruising, or blisters may occur after the procedure; most improve gradually within 1-2 weeks.
- Washing your face, wearing makeup, and showering are fine from the day of the procedure, but avoid exfoliating for 2 weeks.
- For at least 1-2 weeks after the procedure, until any scabs fall off, please avoid saunas, steam rooms, swimming pools, alcohol, smoking, and intense exercise that causes heavy sweating.
- Keep the skin well moisturized after the procedure, and apply sunscreen when going outside — this helps with results and prevents recurrence.
- Temporary dryness may occur after the procedure, so applying a regenerating cream or a cream containing vitamin K helps create a good healing environment. (E.G.F and PP cream — products rich in peptides — are available for purchase at the clinic.)
- Use caution with medications that can dilate blood vessels, such as certain blood pressure medications and steroid ointments; if you must use them, please consult your doctor first.
- Even outside of laser treatment, for facial flushing it is best to avoid alcohol, spicy or hot foods, very hot or cold environments, and sudden temperature changes in daily life.
