Isn't it about doing it many times with low power?
Some people misunderstand the explanation of irradiating up to four times, thinking it means repeating the treatment many times with reduced power. This is not the case.
It is true that strong irradiation breaks down pigment particles more effectively than weak intensity. However, if treatment is performed with excessively strong intensity without considering the skin condition, side effects may occur, and the treatment effect may even decrease.
The Decision Not to Maximize Output
Excessively strong irradiation with a tattoo removal laser can damage the skin and lymph, increasing the likelihood of scarring. Furthermore, it may not effectively perform its role of expelling tattoo pigment from the body.

Is it ineffective if no blisters form?
Some people worry that if blisters do not form after tattoo removal, the treatment might not be effective. At our clinic, most patients either do not develop blisters or develop very small ones.

How many sessions are needed?
Tattoo removal is difficult to achieve sufficient pigment removal with only 1-2 sessions. Repeated treatments are a prerequisite, and we generally recommend at least 10 sessions.
However, the number of sessions may decrease or increase depending on the conditions:
- Tattoo size
- Amount of pigment in the skin
- Outline and lettering tattoos
For outline and lettering tattoos, tattoo artists inject a large amount of pigment deeply into a small area to make the color appear dark and uniform. Therefore, more treatment sessions may be required than for other tattoos.

What if brown marks remain after treatment is finished?
It is easy to think that if brown marks are visible after the treatment is supposedly finished, the tattoo pigment has not been sufficiently removed. This is not the case. If the tattoo pigment were not sufficiently removed, the ink would appear prominent.
