At the 2011 fall dermatology congress, Yonsei Star Dermatology presented on the treatment effect of the non-suture punch technique for acne scars.
The study systematically evaluated the technique in acne scar patients, confirming a treatment response not only in boxcar scars but also in small rolling scars. Compared with conventional sutured punch excision, the non-suture approach causes less disruption to daily life, with a recovery period of about two to three days.
