On April 15, 2023, the spring academic symposium hosted by the Gwangju-Jeonnam chapter of the Association of Korean Dermatologists and the Gwangju Dermatology Research Society was held at Chonnam National University Medical School. Dr. Sang Ju Lee presented his research and clinical work on atrophic acne scar treatment.
His lecture emphasized combining the three pillars of acne scar treatment, excision (cut it out), augmentation, and resurfacing, according to each scar pattern. After the presentation he received a certificate of appreciation from the Jeonnam chapter.
